Privacy

Privacy policy.

This page explains how Clarke CAD handles enquiry details, project information, sketches and messages sent through the website, email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn.

Who is responsible

Clarke CAD is responsible for the information it receives through this website and direct enquiry routes. For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests, email adam@clarkecad.co.uk.

What information we collect

  • When you contact Clarke CAD, we may receive your name, company, email address, WhatsApp number, preferred contact method, project type, message content and any other details you choose to send.
  • We only ask for information that helps us understand, quote or discuss your project.
  • If you send sketches, drawings, photographs, measurements, CAD files or marked-up documents, those files are treated as project material for enquiry, quote and delivery discussions.
  • Public website browsing may generate standard hosting logs such as IP address, requested page, browser type and timestamp. The current site does not use marketing cookies or a separate analytics tracker.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and discuss CAD, drawing and fabrication support.
  • To prepare quotes, clarify scope and manage project communication.
  • To deliver agreed CAD services and keep relevant correspondence for follow-up.
  • To maintain basic business, tax, legal and security records where required.

What we do not do with it

  • We do not sell enquiry information.
  • We do not share project details externally unless it is necessary to provide the work or required by law.
  • We do not intentionally publish confidential drawings, files or client information without approval.

Website enquiry form

  • The website form can accept the listed drawing, model and image files with the written details you enter. Accepted files are stored privately for the enquiry and are not placed in a public upload directory.
  • The form submits project details through the website. Direct email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn remain alternative contact routes if you prefer them or if online submission is unavailable.
  • When the form sends online, Cloudflare Pages may process standard security information such as IP address, request headers, timestamp and bot-check status.
  • Where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile helps reduce spam and automated submissions. It may process browser and challenge information to decide whether a request appears human.
  • Email delivery is only enabled when Clarke CAD has configured a verified email provider such as Resend or Postmark. That provider processes the enquiry email so it can be delivered to Clarke CAD.

Third-party contact routes

  • Direct email is handled through Clarke CAD's email service and your email provider.
  • WhatsApp and LinkedIn messages are also handled under those platforms' own terms.
  • If the website form cannot send online, it will show a message you can copy and send directly.

Retention and deletion

  • Enquiry information is kept while it is needed to respond, quote, deliver work or handle reasonable follow-up.
  • Project correspondence and files may be retained for business records, warranty-style follow-up, legal obligations or dispute prevention.
  • You can ask Clarke CAD to correct or delete information where it is no longer needed and no legal or business record requirement applies.

Your choices

  • You can choose how much project information to send before a job is agreed.
  • Avoid sending highly sensitive drawings, title blocks, site details or confidential client material unless you are satisfied the route is appropriate.
  • If you want to know what enquiry information Clarke CAD holds about you, or want it corrected or removed, email adam@clarkecad.co.uk.
